🥄 Pistachio Yogurt Dessert with Chocolate Date Hearts

🌿 Ingredients
Pistachio Base
- 80g pistachios (unsalted, roughly chopped)
Cream Layer
- 125g Turkish yogurt
- 125g mascarpone
- 100g pistachio cream (lightly warmed)
- Optional: 1 tsp honey or 3g icing sugar
Toppings
- Option 1: 2 dates (pitted, shaped into hearts)
- Option 2: 2 strawberries (whole or halved)
Chocolate Coating:
- 50–70g melted chocolate
👩‍🍳 Instructions
1. Prepare the Base
Roughly chop the pistachios and divide half into the bottom of two serving glasses.
2. Make the Chocolate Garnish
- Dates: Remove pits, shape into hearts, and dip in melted chocolate.
- Strawberries: Dip whole or halved strawberries in melted chocolate.
Set aside to harden.
3. Prepare the Cream
In a bowl, whisk together Turkish yogurt and mascarpone until smooth.
Add honey or icing sugar if extra sweetness is desired.
4. Pistachio Cream
Gently warm the pistachio cream until pourable. Let it cool slightly before using.
5. Assemble the Dessert
- Add the yogurt-mascarpone mixture over the pistachio base
- Pour a layer of pistachio cream on top
- Sprinkle remaining pistachios
6. Final Touch
Place the chocolate-coated date hearts or strawberries on top.
7. Chill & Serve
Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.

- Don’t pour hot pistachio cream—it can melt the yogurt layer
- For extra crunch, lightly toast the pistachios
